Why are referrals missing from my promoter dashboard?

So you're promoting events and don't see the expected number of referrals on your promoter dashboard. You've talked to friends and family and they have guaranteed that they registered, but they are not listed on your dashboard as referrals. How can this happen?

For referrals to be properly recorded and credited to your user account, your family and friends must use the unique referral link.

Your unique referral link can be found in the Promoter Dashboard. From there, you can share it accordingly. Make sure that:

you sign into the the correct Race Roster user account (with more than one account, you may be sharing multiple referral links)
you adjust the date range to reflect the registration window
your contacts use that link to register for the event (not other links such as team join links, sub-event smart links, access code links, etc)
