How to sort contact tags into tag groups in organizations
Your organizational contacts can be assigned contact tags. A contact tag is a label that sorts contacts together. There are two types of contact tags: system tags and user-defined tags. The latter can be further subdivided into tag groups. Below we cover how to create a tag group, add tags to the group and suggested usage.
1. From your organization dashboard, use the lefthand navigation menu to select Contacts > Tags.
2. In the tag management page, navigate to the "Tag groups" tab.
3. From the tag groups tab, click the green "+ Create tag group" button.
4. For your new tag group, enter a name and description. The tag group name will be visible from the tag management page's "Tags" and "Tag groups" tabs, as well as each contact profile's "Tags" card and "Assign tags" dropdown menu. By contrast, the description will only be visible from the tag management page's "Tag groups" tab.
5. Next, use the expand arrow to reveal a dropdown menu with all of your user-defined tags. Choose (or use "x" to remove) the relevant tags to include in the tag group. Then, click "Save & exit".

6. Back in the tag groups tab, you can see your existing tag groups, including a number column indicating how many tags belong to each tag group. Tag groups can also be edited or deleted.
After creating tag groups, you will see them in the manual tag assignment widget. For contacts with multiple tags belonging to different tag groups, the tags will be sorted accordingly.
