How do I transfer my registration?
Please note these transfer limitations:
- Not all events on Race Roster have automated transfer settings enabled. If you do not see any transfer buttons or links on the event registration page, please sign in to Race Roster. If you still cannot see anything after signing in, contact the event organizer and inquire about their transfer policies.

If a transfer has already been completed for a registration, you will not be able to complete a second transfer automatically through the transfer tool. In that case, you will need to contact the event organizer directly to request approval for another transfer. Event policies on repeat transfers vary, so the organizer will let you know what options are available.
1. Go to the Race Roster event registration page.
2. Sign in to your Race Roster user account.
3. Click the "Transfer" link on the left sidebar, or the "TRANSFER" button on the righthand side.
4. You will be taken to a new page where you can select if you want to Transfer to a new sub-event or Transfer to a new participant. Please note: Not all events have both options.
a) To transfer to a new sub-event (also known as "distance switch/swap"), you will be prompted to select the new sub-event and then to start the transfer. From there you will be directed to the transfer registration form and asked to complete it.
b) To transfer to a new participant (also known as "bib switch/swap"), you will be prompted to enter the email address of the new participant. Once you initiate this transfer, the new participant will receive an email with a link to complete the transfer, and they must take action.
5. Once inside the transfer form, the applicable user will be prompted to complete their registration under the new sub-event/participant's name. In most cases when completing the new transfer, product purchases will automatically carry over to the new registration, and will be pre-selected if the settings are such that product credit applies to the new registration.
6. After completing the transfer form and submitting (payment will be required where applicable), the original registration will be automatically made inactive on the event, and the newly completed transfer registration will take its place. If/when applicable, a refund corresponding to the original registration will be issued.
