# How do I add volunteer sign up to my registration page?
There are 3 main step up steps for volunteer set up. 1. Volunteer Settings 2. Volunteer Details Page 3. Volunteer Additional Questions
Go to [https://raceroster.com/](https://raceroster.com/signin) click sign in (top right), use your email and password associated with your Race Roster account (having trouble with signing in? see [forgot my password article](https://hubspot.raceroster.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-do-i-reset-my-lost-password?hsLang=en-us))
VOLUNTEER SETTINGS
1. From your dashboard click Management and then Volunteers
2. Click Volunteer Settings
3. Select "Yes" for Volunteer Registration Required?
4. For the volunteer sign up conditions:
a. Check Auto assign Volunteers to their preferred station? if you would like volunteers to be assigned to the station they select in the registration form
b. Check Allow Volunteers to select multiple Volunteer Activities? if you would like to allow your volunteers to assist at more than one station. If this is selected please set your minimum and maximum number of stations you would to allow them to select
c. Check Hide Volunteer Registration link? if you would like to remove the volunteer options from the event details page. Note: This is only suitable if you would like to manually add volunteers only OR no longer accept new volunteers
d. Check Enable alternate Volunteer close date? if you would like to set a volunteer registration close date different from the participant registration close date
5\. If you would like to set up volunteer stations click ADD ACTIVITY to enter your stations
6\. Enter your activity name (Note: it is often best practice to include the activities date, location and time in the name) *e.g. Packet Pick Up (Friday Jan 1st, 12-3PM, 12 South Street)*
7\. Enter the number of volunteers you would like to work there under spots
8\. Click ADD
9\. Repeat until all of your stations have been entered
10\. Click SAVE at the bottom of the page
Note the following symbols( )if you would like to edit or delete your entered stations
VOLUNTEER DETAILS
1. Under Volunteer on the left hand side, select Volunteer Details Page (Note: the details of this section will appear before the volunteer registration form)
*Things you might enter in this section: Station explanation and details, maps, instruction packets, etc*
2\. Enter a box Title next to Title 1
3\. Enter your content into the space provided
4\. Hit SAVE at the bottom of the page
VOLUNTEER ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS
*The registration form currently asks a volunteer for their Name, Email, Phone #, Address, City, Country, Province, Date of Birth, and Sex. If you have additional questions you would like the volunteer to fill out, please enter them here.*
1. Under Volunteer on the left hand side, select Volunteer Additional Questions
2. Enter the question you would like to ask under "Title of your question"
3. Check "Make this question required?" if you would like to have every volunteer select an option
4. Select the type of answer for this question from the options listed
Note: if you select the multiple choice option please enter your options in the spaces below
5\. Select SAVE
